Raise Awareness, Not Anger

Affecting Our Society
Project Anti Bully is using their motto Raise Awareness, Not Anger in their newest campaign called Hands for Change! By demonstrating to students that they should put down their fists and raise their voice to be heard, Hands for Change encourages students to take a stand!

Project Anti Bully's definition of bullying is the harassment or discrimination against one /or group which can include physical, mental, or emotional abuse. In our studies the investigators have found that 87% of students daily are being bullied within their schools, while 14% of students are being Cyberbullying.

Project Anti Bully recognizes each student's special uniqueness and wants to encourage students to embrace it by not being afraid to be different. With this in mind, our newest campaign Hands for Change is a creative and fun way to engage students in developing unity and acceptance for all students throughout the world, of all race, age, and color.

To participate in this campaign students must paint in different colors and create a poster/banner with all the hands pasted on it. Then students/ teachers must take a picture of the banner/poster and send it to Project Anti Bully's email, for it will be posted on their website for recognition! Students/ Teachers can also send pictures of the students with their hands painted if a poster board/ banner is unable to be used.

The colorful painted handprints of students shows that each student is standing up for change and acceptable of all "colors" or differences. If you are interested in participating in this wonderful campaign please feel free to email Project Anti Bully for more information. Several pictures have been posted already of students who have participated.

Project Anti Bully is willing to take individual submitted photos as well as group photos.
